Program Insignia Universal Remote with Auto Search

All the Universal Codes in the Remote Control goes through scanning process in the auto search method. The procedure of programming Insignia Universal Remote is a sequential step by step process. It should be done carefully. Below are the steps:

1. Turn on the TV for which you want the Universal Remote to operate.
2. Turn on the remote, tap on the device (TV) button for 3 seconds. The LED light shows that the device is all set to program.
3. Point out the remote to device and click on channel switches (CH+ & CH-). Remote will show on/off signals. Press up/down until the device turns off.
4. Check the code by clicking on “Power” button. Device will turn on. Try changing the channels to check if the remote is programmed correctly or not.
5. Click Device button to save the code. LED light will blink twice for confirming the stored code.

Below is the procedure of programming Insignia Universal Remote with Manual Method.

1. Turn on the TV for which you want the universal remote to operate.
2. Press the “TV” on your remote.
3. Now press and hold the “Setup button” of the Universal Remote until it shows the LED light. It shows that the device is all set to program.
4. Finally enter the code which you have from the program instructions guide.
5. Then point your remote at the TV and then Press and Hold the Power button.
6. Then release the Power button whenever the screen switches off.
7. That’s all. Now your TV will work perfectly with the universal remote control.
