On the other hand, DISH Network Corporation has about 9.3 million customer base. DISH Network is originally a television provider in the United States. It bought Boost Mobile in the United States and became the fourth largest carrier of wireless communication.

Dish Network

DISH officially bought Boost Mobile from T-Mobile on July 1, 2020. Post the purchase, DISH Wireless launched prepaid services through Boost Mobile as an MNVO (mobile virtual Network Operator) on T-Mobile network. DISH wants to offer post-paid services in future that will be built out of DISH network. DISH also wants to build the first 5G only network in the United States.

It announced to launch a Monthly Unlimited Plan on January 15, 2009. The plan was accompanied by re-focusing the brand towards a larger target audience than before. The new plan got more than 674000 customers in about three months of time period. It also provided Re-Boost cards for its customers which helps in adding money to the customers account. CDMA Network

The unexpected flow in popularity for the service caused significant damage on the Nextel iDEN network, as many customers complained delays in receiving text messages. Hence, this service company shared that it would begin to offer a new unlimited plan utilizing Sprint’s CDMA network.

The company’s parent organization removed the iDEN network on June 30, 2013, since then most of the iDEN customers migrated to the Sprint CDMA network. In January this year, Sprint terminated the Virgin mobile USA brand and moved its customers to Boost Mobile.
