More About Samsung Series

The Series 7 TV has good quality of picture with a good native contrast ratio but lacks some advanced features such as local dimming to improve the dark room performance. It has very low input lag which is superb for gamers but the response time is only decent so some blur is visible behind fast-moving objects.

When viewed from different angles the image also loses its accuracy, so the best image is reserved for those directly in front of the TV. Reflection Handling of Series 7 is not that great and has decent peak brightness, so it performs well in average-lit rooms. Contrast ratio is also good for TV’s in these series.

It also offers PIP Mode or Multiview/ Multi-link option to access multiple applications simultaneously. Unfortunately, the viewing angles are quite poor for flat panels, so the image loses accuracy when viewed from the side.

Advantages of Samsung Series 7

The advantages include:

  • Excellent low input lag.
  • Good uniformity.
  • It offers realistic stereo and sound quality.

Disadvantages of Samsung Series 7

The disadvantages include:

  • Limited HDR peak brightness.
  • Picture quality degrades when viewed at an angle.
